ABOUT ME

After earning a BFA in Fibers from The Savannah College of Art & Design, I fortunately discovered the flooring design industry. Early in my career I received a hands-on technical education of tufted carpet, developing an early understanding of the design and engineering processes. This foundation has allowed me to be more creative and innovative in the design process.

I spent many years in hospitality design, working with interior design clients, gaining an understanding of holistic design application. As Design Director of a start-up, I built a design department that helped launch a company to lasting success in the hospitality flooring industry.

Throughout my career, I have focused on learning and honing skills in trend research, collection development, custom design, trade show booth design, customer centricity, and design instruction. My experience includes time at Mohawk, Shaw, and Tarkett.

My greatest enjoyment as a design leader is passing on knowledge that I have gained through my education and career, and watching designers fall in love with flooring.

I approach life, design, & leadership with openness, integrity, curiosity, humor, & heart. I dedicate myself to learning and growing every day.
